Sweating and Acne
Another thing that happens during puberty is more erections. That's right, more erections. Actually, erections are perfectly normal and happen all throughout people's lives. What's an erection you ask? Well, an erection is just when a lot of blood rushes into people's genitals or private parts. So, for men when blood rushes into the penis, it gets hard and sticks out from the body. In females, blood rushes into a part of the body called the clitoris. It gets hard and sticks out a little bit, but most of the clitoris is actually inside the female body, tucked away so you can't see it when a female has an erection. All throughout people's lives, people get erections, even babies growing inside the womb. Their genitals are getting filled with blood and relaxing. Getting full of blood and relaxing. It's perfectly normal. But during puberty, there are a lot of hormones happening in the body that can cause erections to happen more often.
