You and People Around You
So, during puberty, people might notice that their friends have a lot of influence on them. This is pretty common. People grow closer in their relationships with peers and people who are their own age. Now that doesn't mean that our parents, our guardians, the people we live with aren't still important but often there is a time when those two influences are intersecting and could be in conflict with each other. So that's why its important during puberty to use that brain that's getting more and more complex to make decisions about who's important to you and what you need to do next. So, how do you figure out who you are? What's important to you? How do you make good decisions? There's you, all the folks around you who influence you, the entire world, the culture and communities that we live in. It's tough to make good decisions. But I think if you can make it through puberty, just like every grown up adult on this planet has done, you'll get there.
