Q and A - Hormones

"Where do hormones come from?" Hormones are produced in many different parts of our bodies. The main place that hormones are produced during puberty is in the pituitary gland. That's a glad deep inside the recesses of our brain. There are other places where hormones are produced too, like in the reproductive organs in both males and females. "What starts puberty?" Guess what? Its hormones! Testosterone and estrogen. Everybody has both. Males have more testosterone, females have more estrogen. Those are the main hormones that start most of the changes during puberty. "Do hormones count if you cry without knowing why? Does that have to do with puberty?" Well, hormones can cause mood swings and maybe mood swings, in that person, caused that person to cry. So, it could have been hormones.
