Sweating and Acne
Another change that happens during puberty is people's voices change. This is true for both men and women, although we notice it more for boys. There is a time in male voice when suddenly their voice drops lower, to a lower register, but then it might also crack back up or jump around just like this, which you really wouldn't want to make fun of anybody if their voice is cracking. These changes also happen for women. We notice that women don't have the same voices they had when they were small children. We wonder why does that happen? Now, when people are growing their vocal chords are getting bigger. And just like those of you who play string instruments might notice on a guitar or violin, the big string is always lower than the small string. So, our vocal chords are getting bigger as we get older and that's why our voices deepen, as well.
